We were encountering a large number of Manual Handling related accidents in Stobart Energy. I engaged with Handling Change to put a robust manual handling programme in place. This resulted in an extremely impressive 83% reduction in handling related injuries.
The change in our in-house trainers and the localised, personal delivery along with the realistic and practical materials drove down our top two causes and supported our behavioural approach. Over two years with many other interactions and programmes with Handling Change..
Putting manual handling training in the front line and becoming involved in conversations with the workforce relating to the real-world challenges in daily work activities afforded us the greatest influence in changing perceptions and behaviours across the project and workforce
I proudly say that in all my 25 years in this job, I have never had so much unsolicited positive feedback about ANY training provider! They have made it their business to learn how we work and have embedded their values across all areas of Biffa
We were very pleased to work with Handling Change as they took the time to understand our ways of working and encouraged us to look at our handling tasks through fresh eyes. Our manufacturing teams enjoyed their down-to-earth presentation and training style.
